Christmas blowout is now a New Years blowout
NEW YEARS RESOLUTIONS SALE
Through 2/15/2012, save 25% on all instructional courses with coupon code RESOLVE2012. Learn moreIn the middle of last month, we lost our main server here in the office that contains all of the code that runs our systems. Fortunately, everything was backed up except for two small utility programs, which we lost and are going to have to rewrite.
One of those programs is a utility that lets me change prices. If I still knew our software, I would just go into the database and change the prices that way. But I no longer have a clue what is happening in our system (which seems to get more complex by the month).
So, I remembered today that I need to stop my Christmas special on CDs and my DVD course. When I started doing it, it occurred to me that I had no easy way of changing the prices back.
The technical people here are swamped and I don't want to bother them so I just decided it would be simpler to extend the sale through January and call it a New Years blowout. So, the same sale is going to be running a few more weeks ($5-7 for CDs and $99 for the DVD course).
I did remember to change all the references and pictures of Christmas so that I will not look completely out of touch.
Will you do me a personal favor?
