On Saturday, we attended my friend Jason Prisk's premiere of his initial movie The Solomon Bunch

Of course, Kelsey had a minor speaking role in the movie and Zachary was an extra who thankfully does not know the difference between an extra and a star.  So, it was an exciting night for us.

All movies are a ton of work and a very risky business and Christian movies are certainly no exception.  But movies are a place where Christians need to be.  We need Christian movies and we also need Christians making secular movies.  So my hat is off to Jason for taking on the risk and responsibility.

There were about 1200 people there and it was well received.  I am hardly a movie expert and I am obviously biased but I thought it was great.  If you can, buy one of the initial DVD release from their website.

Here are a few pics:

Director Jason Prisk and his wife Christina (a very patient woman). BTW, someone tell Jason that it takes more than a beard to be a good director :)
